I love it when people pronounce my name wrong; it’s been happening since Pre-K, and it just gets better and better.
Recently, it’s mostly been pronounced as “Tragic,” and I’m kind of digging it. If I didn’t like “Lexi Trixie” so much, I’d definitely design as “Lexi Tragic”.
I’m thinking of having one of my “Ambition” looks of the collection have one of those old-timey scientific heart diagrams printed onto the fabric, to show how the heart is perceived as an object before “Love” is introduced into the story.
Gonna have to think on this one for a while…gotta start patterning things out first before worrying about specific fabric choices…

…wrestled with a stubborn roll of chicken wire, and I won! All for the sake of design integrity and personal identity. (I’m all scratched up, but no blood, so I take it as an overall victory!!! Go me!)
Pictures to come sometime tomorrow. Goodnight!

Got my L&A inspiration playlist on shuffle, and I’m sketching like a madwoman. Also, catching up on Project Runway and MasterChef. Oh and looking at NYFW pics. Yum. Will inevitably fall asleep on my couch.
Tomorrow, I plan on finally leaving my house for the first time since I got back from London, to scavenge for groceries and fabric/other sewing supplies I’m in severe need of. And chipboard for my VM class. And also glass shards and barbed wire…and chiffon…or possibly lace…again for my VM class.
…but you should know upfront, this is not a love story.(500) Days of Summer
